RESCHEDULED! Associated Industries Insurance Services Inc. will host the 6th annual "Fore a Good Cause" charity golf tournament at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club, 415 Country Club Circle in Plantation, benefiting Broward Partnership for the Homeless Inc.
Registration and breakfast begin at 7 a.m., followed by a scramble format/shotgun start at 8 a.m. The entry fee per player is $175 and sponsorship opportunities are still available. The event will feature door prizes, a silent auction, awards, gifts and prizes for golfers, and a special Hole-In-One prize awarding a 2-year lease on a new RX 350 from JM Lexus of Margate. www.foreagoodcause.com

The Boca Raton Singers, a not for profit organization, will be holding auditions each Monday evening in the choral room of Spanish River High School on Jog Road and Yamato in Boca Raton. The 30 member male and female chorus sings in four part harmony and performs at various venues in the area including Kravis Center in September. Rehearsals take place at Spanish River High School on Monday nights from 7-9 PM. Registration is $50 per season. You will be judged on vocal blending, sight reading and pitch precision.
