Gerry Klein / The Scene

First of all, Gerry is not originally from Florida. But then again, who is? He was born and raised in Buffalo, New York and moved here after one too many freak snowstorms in August. You should know that he never intentionally writes to hurt your feelings, make you angry or cause you to email death threats. He is a sarcastic, witty guy who has been writing for many years including a long stint as the big cheese of his own ad agency. When he's not out making a scene, he likes spending his free time underwater, breathing through a snorkel, and socializing with marine life.

Carolyn Kelley North, LCSW / Ask The Therapist

Carolyn Kelley North, Ask the Therapist, is a licensed clinical social worker who has practiced in both the Washington, DC area and in South Florida. She specializes in individual and couples therapy. In addition, she has been active in the Social Scene in both South Florida and Washington and is frequently approached at parties for five minute therapy sessions over hors d'ouevres and cocktails, and has long thought of writing a column along these lines.

Nicole G. Ruth / Consultant

Nicole G. Ruth consults with SouthFloridaSociety.com on content and design. She has an accomplished history in South Florida publishing and is currently the Director of Account Development for The Boca Observer Magazine. In the 1990s, she served as Publisher and Editor in Chief of Luxury Living, An Insider's Guide to the Opulent Living in the Palm Beaches. She has also served as an Account Manager for both Ocean Drive and Palm Beach Illustrated magazines.
