Dean Roman / Web Master and Bon Vivant
No job, meal, glass of wine or bottle of sake is too large or small for this multi-faceted design guru. Whether it's developing web sites for fine artists, as his reclusive alter ego 'blukid', producing short films or creating delicious desserts at Canyon in Fort Lauderdale, the outcome is assuredly well crafted. Dean holds a BFA in Painting as well as an MFA in Painting and Sculpture and has been a Professor of Art and Design, Gallery Director, After School Program Coordinator and Night Club Manager. He can be found traveling the globe in search of new culinary inspiration when he's not tinkering in his lab. |

Ellen Yui / Contributing Editor
Ellen Yui, Washington Correspondent for SouthFloridaSociety.com, has spent two decades trolling the halls of Congress and the parties up and down the Eastern seaboard. As the head of Yui+Co, Inc., a virtual PR agency with clients across the country, she has flacked everything from members of Congress to timeshare, high finance to road paint. A serious foodie, she's also a principal in YuiDesign, Inc., the nation's leading (and hippest) hospitality design firm. When she is not organizing Presidential Inaugural events and Rose Garden press conferences, she is seen hobnobbing in Washington salons and at A-list parties at the hottest restaurants, clubs, and hotels, where she is privy to Washington's political buzz and off-the-record scoops. |
