The Florida Panthers Foundation raised over $150,000 for local charities during last night’s 2nd Annual Ice & Dice Casino Night presented by Publix Supermarkets at the BankAtlantic Center. The event, which was co-presented by BankAtlantic, Lexus, the Miami Herald, Sziro Jewelers and Millennium Laser Eye Centers, was the premier charity event of the year for the Florida Panthers Foundation.
With Florida Panthers players working as dealers, over 500 guests attended the over the top Las Vegas-style event, chaired by general manager and head coach Jacques Martin.
“The 2nd Annual Ice & Dice Casino Night was an even bigger success in 2007 thanks to the phenomenal support from our players, coaches, sponsors and fans,” said Alaina Miller, Executive Director of the Panthers Foundation. “The Panthers continue to be the community leaders among professional sports franchises in South Florida and Ice & Dice is just further proof of that.” |
