Delray hipsters were out and about on September 28 at the Saki Room, an Atlantic Avenue hot spot, to celebrate the opening of its new club and to view the latest artwork from famed local artist Sal Principe of the Hearts of Delray gallery.

Salvatore Principe’s art has graced the walls of Saks Fifth Avenue, Bendels, Bergdoff Goodman, The Trump Towers. Owners of Sal’s original works include Donald Trump, Nicole Miller, Adam Sandler, Gwen Stefani, Andy Roddick, Patti Labelle, and the late Miles Davis to name a few. For Donald Trump’s Wedding, Sal created a special edition Heart Painting “True Love” to honor this special event!

After a drink and bite to eat with friends at City Place on Atlantic Avenue, Cary and Liz attended the event and chatted with Sal and his fiancé Zephra, as well as a smattering of club enthusiasts and Delray entrepreneurs.

Although a good crowd, Delray was rather quiet that evening and we determined that most people were at Mizner Park in Boca Raton.
